1. The Communications Ordnance 2006

The Communications Ordnance 2006 came into operation on the 5th June 2006 together with following regulations:-

LN 72 of 2006 Communications (Universal Service and User Rights) Regulations.

LN 75 of 2006 Communications (Authorisation and Licensing) Regulations

LN 76 of 2006 Communications (access) Regulations.

The Communications Ordinance replaces the former Telecoms Ordinance and also transposes EC Directives numbers 200/19-22, 2002/58 and 77 into Gibraltar Law. These all related to the regulations of the electronic communications sector and use of the electro-magnetic spectrum and repeal the following.

LN 2001 No 91 The Telecommunications (Open Network) (Framework) Regulations The whole Ordinance
